The Rye High School music program is under the direction of Aaron Garner MA music, and Joel Shifflet BA of music. Mr. Garner is over the choral music department. He has worked with a variety of choral music groups over the years (including RHS) and has a strong performance base. Mr Shifflet works with all instrumental music at Rye High School. He has over eight years of private music teaching experience and jazz performance. Currently Rye High School offers choir, select choir, concert band, and jazz band classes. We hope to add other ensembles in the near future.
